Christopher and I bought an old 1D a while back.  Like, the first 1D they put out.  The resolution is low.  The photos are grainier with a high ISO.  The controls are quite confusing.  The old, huge battery only lasts about an hour.  But the depth is amazing!  His eyes and lips just pop!  And this is with a 50mm lens—a great lens for the money, but not an L series or anything.

  1. catlols said: How do you like this compared to the 5D? I’m upgrading this month to a 5D2 after getting a few more photo jobs, and I’m super excited to get something with a full frame sensor!
